Corporate Social Responsibility
Established in 1950, CTR has been over 70 years old now. We focus on developing principal occupation and expanding sales capacity to increase the performance of company operation. In recent years, we’ve been continuously working on upgrading employees’ salary and fulfilling the welfare and benefits to be a true Happy Enterprise.
In 2016, CTR invested about 10 million NT dollars and changed heavy fuel oil burner to high-cost natural gas clean energy to protect the environment and lower the generation of PM 2.5 exhaust. We even replaced all diesel forklifts with electrical forklifts in 2020 to share the responsibility of serious air pollution problem day by day.
We cooperate with Chung Yuan Christian University every year to provide internship opportunities for undergraduates and graduate students so they can integrate into industry in advance. Apart from coordinating the existed classes in school, we let students flexibly choose the time they come to work. When male students graduate, they can apply unpaid leave. Besides solving their problems of being between jobs and unemployed, we also donated funds for Chung Yuan Christian University to rebuild Business and Literature Lecture Hall to truly fulfill the spirit of industry-academia cooperation.
CTR has obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, hoping that we can build a safer work environment based on current management foundation so we can achieve our goal of sustainable development and operation.
Not only donating to public interest group every year, we also pledge for conservation of bus stops to benefit our neighbors and contribute as best as we can to our land.
We’ve passed Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Management System, obtained Badge of Accredited Healthy Workplace, and equipped AED in our factory.
Excellent Work Environment and Talent Cultivation
CTR values every employee’s safety in work environment. We provide hard hat, safety shoes, uniforms, vest, jackets, gloves, masks, etc. to make sure everyone’s safety and comfort in work environment.
Fully functional dining facility—free meals. You can choose meat or vegetarian diet, and the meals are diverse. The dining room is equipped with vending machines of snacks and drinks for employees to replenish strength at any time.
We value employees’ health of body and mind, so we build an exclusive staff lounge and arrange nursing assistance all day. We also arrange classes of losing weight, fast walking, and quitting smoke by hiring professional teachers from other company to increase employees’ knowledge of health.
We value every employee, so our General Manager will hand out cash gift of birthday in person monthly.
We regularly do environment and safety propaganda every month to nourish correct knowledge for employees.
Arrange internal/external education trainings to increase professional skills of employees. Our staffs are trained by professional teachers with qualification, and that’s our internal education trainings.
